Ski tour up to Tirolerkogel via the Sterngassl and back via the Kalte Kuchel
The tour starts at the parking Weidenaurotte and first follows back the street for a few meters towards the farm Hauptretzhof. The tour then follows the trail along the river and continues following the forest trail westwards. After crossing the Kuchelleiten street, the tour continues following the trail through the forest westwards and finally uses the Sterngassl to ascent up to Kalte Kuchl. From there the tour follows the marked trail westwards up to the Tirolerkogel and the Annabergerhaus. For descending, the tour follows the trail back to Kalte Kuchl and then keeps right heading and passing by the Almhütte Kuchelalm. After a short ascent, the tour then descends nicely via the Kalte Kuchl towards Jagdhaus Habritzer and then follows the forest road back to Weidenaurotte.

| 00:10 | At the crossing, keep straight and pass by the Tortalhof. Step into the skis and start the ski tour following the forest road along the river. |
| 00:30 | At the crossing, leave the forest road and keep right into the trail through the forest. |
| 00:55 | Cross the forest road and stay on the trail through the forest. |
| 01:30 | At the crossing, keep straight and now ascent a bit steeper the slope. |
| 01:50 | Cross again the forest road and keep straight. Now comes the steepest part of the tour. |
| 02:10 | Follow the slope (marked with blue and red sticks) westwards leading directly to Tirolerkogel. On the way back, you will need to turn right here! |
| 02:35 | Enjoy a well-deserved break at Annabergerhaus (). |
| 03:45 | Walk a few meters to the summit cross of Tirolerkogel and enjoy the amazing view from there. Also prepare your skis now for the descent. |
| 03:55 | Ski down eastwards the same way as used for the ascent. |
| 04:10 | At the crossing (see 02:10), keep right and now follow the slope towards Almhütte Kuchlalm. |
| 04:20 | Now ascent to the hill behind the hut and then keep straight eastwards for a nice downhill. Make sure you do not follow the forest road but take the direct way down to Jagdhaus Habritzer. |
| 04:50 | Pass by Jagdhaus Habritzer and follow the (lowest) forest road northwards furhter down. |
| 05:05 | After some u-turns, you’re back at Weidenaurotte. Turn right and follow the trail back to the parking. |
| 05:15 | Back at the parking Weidenau, end of the tour. |
