Climb the Hohe Wand in winter using three different via ferratas (Wagnersteig, Steirerspur, Leiterlsteig)
The tour starts at the parking Seiser Toni (GPS: 47.806149, 16.008561) and first follows the forest road east towards Wagnersteig. Following the white-yellow-white marked Wagnersteig leads up to the Große Kanzel, opposite of the Eicherthütte.
After a short break, follow the road up to the Packles (keep slightly right after the Eicherthütte) allows some promising views to the Rax/Schneeberg area. Turn around and follow the street back to the Eicherthütte and stay on the trail till reaching the Hubertushaus. Put on your via ferrata set, turn right into the Springselsteig (only a couple meters downwards) and then turn left into the Steirerspur. After completing the traverse of the Steirerspur, head back to the trail and follow the trail north-eastwards till reaching the Leitergraben. Descent down and then turn left towards the Hochkogelhaus and ascent again the Leitergraben. At the top, enjoy the view from Neue Welt Blick and then follow the forest road north-eastwards towards Gasthof Postl and further on towards Kohlröserlhaus. Just before the Kohlröserlhaus, turn right following the signpost towards the Leiterlsteig and descent using this via ferrata. At the crossing after the Leiterlsteig, turn right and follow the trail back to the street and subsequently to the parking partly using the Wandfußsteig and the forest roads.

| 00:00 | Start at the parking at Seiser Toni (GPS: 47.806149, 16.008561) and follow the (forest) street heading towards east (street name Theresia Stollen). |
| 00:10 | At the crossing, turn left and follow the small trail upwards towards Wagnersteig. |
| 00:15 | Cross the forest road and stay on the small trail upwards. |
| 00:20 | Keep left and follow the white-yellow-white marked trail (Wagnersteig) updwards. |
| 01:10 | At the end of the Wagnersteig, head forward to the Große Kanzel (summit) and enjoy the view. |
| 01:25 | Head back to the Eicherthütte, turn left and follow the road westwards. |
| 01:40 | At the Bergwachthütte, go towards the ridge and enjoy the amazing view from the viewpoint. Then continue on the road upwards. |
| 01:50 | Turn around at the Packles (1132) which is the highest point of the Hohe Wand. Follow the street back towards Eicherthütte. |
| 02:05 | Break at the Eicherthütte ( ). |
| 02:30 | Follow the trail eastwards along the ridge towards Hubertushaus. |
| 03:00 | At the Hubertushaus, put on your via ferrata set and head downwards the first few meters of the Springselsteig. |
| 03:05 | Turn left and traverse via the Steierspur (C). |
| 03:45 | At the exit of the Steirerspur, put off the via ferrata set and follow the hiking trail north-eastwards. |
| 04:15 | Turn right into the hiking trail and descent towards the Leitergraben. |
| 04:25 | At the crossing, turn left and follow the trail up towards Gasthof Luf. |
| 04:45 | Enjoy the view from Neue Welt Blick and continue on the trail towards Hochkogelhaus. |
| 04:50 | Follow the street (straight ahead), passing by Hochkogelhaus and Gasthof Luf. |
| 05:00 | Follow the street on the left. |
| 05:05 | At the crossing, turn right and follow the forst road towards Gasthof Postl. |
| 05:20 | Pass by Gasthof Postl and head towards the Skywalk. |
| 05:25 | Pass by the Skywalk and follow the trail eastwards. |
| 05:27 | Turn right into the hiking trail and follow the trail eastwards towards Almfrieden. |
| 05:35 | Follow the street and then turn right into the trail towards the Engelbertkirche. |
| 05:45 | At the crossing, turn left and follow the street upwards. |
| 05:50 | Turn right and follow the signposts towards Leiterlsteig. |
| 06:05 | Descent via the Leiterlsteig (A). |
| 06:15 | At the crossing, turn right and follow the trail till reaching the street. |
| 06:40 | CRoss the street and follow the forest road (keep right). |
| 07:00 | Follow the right forest road slightly upwards towards Wandfußsteig. |
| 07:10 | Follow the Wandfußsteig. |
| 07:30 | Follow the forest road back till the start of Wagnersteig. |
| 07:55 | Turn left downwards to the forest road back to the parking. |
| 08:05 | Back at the parking, end of the tour. |
